If you love the Festival, we'd love your help!

Each year, East Preston Festival is brought to you by a team of hard-working volunteers - bringing 10 days of fun to the community while benefiting local good causes.

We encourage all our local organisations and businesses to take part in our annual Festival. Please contact us to register your interest for next year.

Local Organisations

comprises a surprisingly small number of volunteers, who meet regularly to share the responsibility of planning and arranging our annual 10-day East Preston Festival plus occasional mid-year fundraisers.  It's very important to us that the Festival continues to develop and appeal to every generation in the East Preston area, so we would love to welcome new members.  Age, skills and interests are unimportant - if you live locally, want to help make the Festival thrive in the future and are able to meet monthly (sometimes more often as we approach the Festival itself!), please contact us for more information.

The Festival Committee...

During the Festival 'week' itself, the Committee is kindly supported by a generous team of Festival Makers, without whom none of this would be possible.

Festival Makers...

Festival Makers assist with the setup and running of the many events which take place during the Festival/mid-year, taking on tasks from making tea or selling tickets to stewarding, constructing gazebos and setting out chairs and tables! No regular commitment during the year is involved:  the Committee simply makes contact with all potential Festival Makers when the Programme has been fully confirmed and shares the roles needed at each event/other opportunities for involvement during the Festival - Festival Makers are then free to take on as much as they wish, and no contribution is too small!

More Festival Makers are always needed and very welcome indeed - so if you will be in the village at Festival time and would like be part of our future events, please let us know.

If you live in East Preston and would like to be involved (in any capacity) with continuing this great tradition, please let us know.
