The East Preston Festival Committee is a small but dedicated group supported by a team of hardworking ‘Festival Makers', without whom we would not be able to run the Festival and other fundraising events held through the year. We are all volunteers, giving our services free to promote East Preston and help unite our community. New volunteers are invited to join our experienced team of Festival Makers to help with the committee-led events. There are many jobs to be done, large and small, heavy and light, so all are welcome.
Festival Makers
Can you spare a couple of hours, once or twice a year?
Please become a festival maker.
Help is needed to put up and take down tables, chairs, bunting, signs before and after events for about an hour.
Committee Members
We also need volunteers who are willing to take on a higher level of commitment and support the committee at the planning stage. Every year, Festival arrangements become more demanding and, the only way the Festival has a future, is to expand our team and share the workload.Do you enjoy the Festival?Do you think our village would be the poorer without it?If your answer is yes, please give some thought to joining us. We particularly need help with organising fairs and markets, social media, admin assistance and collating advertisements for the Festival programme. So, if you live in East Preston and would like to be involved in carrying on this great tradition, in whatever capacity, please contact us.
