Make a Scarecrow

This year, a Scarecrow Trail will be included as one of the Festival Events.

So, how about creating your own Scarecrow to fit with this year's theme, In the Sea, On the Sea, By the Sea? Cash prizes are on offer to the Winner and Runner-Up.

Scarecrows must be displayed in front gardens from 28th May for the duration of the Festival.

Take a Photo

Why don't you take some photos to show us your interpretation of this year's theme, In the Sea, On the Sea, By the Sea? This could be inspired by any real or fictional aspect of the theme. Cash prizes are on offer for the Winner and Runner-Up. Further details available here.

Submit up to 3 of your photos by email to eastprestonfestival@hotmail.co.uk or in a hard copy format (7"x5" please) to EPF24 Photos, c/o EP Parish Council office, 124 Sea Road, BN16 1NN.

Please include your name, address, email and telephone number, and let us know the title of your entry.

Find a Seaside Item

Here's a chance for children under 12 to get involved. From Friday 20th May, 20 of our local shop windows will have a seaside item hidden in their windows. Children are to find an identify as many as possible, and then, on the back of the entry form, draw or paint a picture of seaside life. A prize of a Hobbycraft voucher is available for each of three age groups - 5, 5-7, 7+ years.
