EAST PRESTON FESTIVAL PARADE WELCOMES EVERYONE
...JOIN IN THIS YEAR & HELP MAKE IT FABULOUS!
Did you know that you can join the Festival Parade on Saturday 11th June as an individual or a group, with friends, family, neighbours, colleagues or your club/group?
You don't have to be based in the village, and you don't need a float (though they're very welcome of course!) - many of our entrants participate on foot or mobility scooter.
To take part, we only require that you pre-register and wear either group uniforms or a costume based on the Festival theme...
This year's theme is 'A Reign to Remember', commemorating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee... be inspired by memorable events or great British achievements of the last 70 years - or the Queen herself, of course!
You can choose whether to compete for one of six category winners' trophies plus cash prizes or just for the fun of it. It's also a great opportunity to collect for a good cause if you wish, and to raise the profile of your club, organisation or charity
