The 2026 Festival Carnival Parade
Parade Route and Timings:
11.45am
Parade assembles by 11.45am in VICARAGE LANE.
12.00 noon
Judging commences. With thanks to St. Mary’s Church and East Preston Scouts for the use of their facilities, and the Friends of St Mary’s for the use of The Spire Room and their help and support on the day.
1.15pm
Parade leaves VICARAGE LANE, travelling along The Street, Sea Lane, Seaview Road, Sea Road, North Lane and Lashmar Road. The Parade will be led this year by the Arundel & Littlehampton Scout Band, followed by the Festival Ambassadors, various costumed local groups, ‘Drumheads’ drumming & percussion and a vintage fire engine. Please Note - Vicarage Lane will be closed to all but residents' traffic in both directions between 11am and 1.30pm. Other road closures will apply during the procession, please check back for details.
2.00pm approx
The Parade arrives at Lashmar Road Recreation Ground around 2pm.

Group 5: Best Individual Walker - R & J Leggett Cup + £25
Group 6: Best Powered Buggy - Jo & Rod White Cup + £25

New participants are invited to enter the Festival Carnival Parade, alongside the regulars. This is the highlight of Festival Week and your group could be part of the fun. Join in by dressing up for the theme and you might win a prize! Or, come along representing your club or charity to raise funds and awareness.
