Our 2025 Festival is sadly over

There has been a truly magical feel throughout the village during this year’s festival based around the theme of Games & Pastimes - Past and Present, generated by wholehearted community involvement. Attendance at all events has been incredible and we had wonderfully imaginative scarecrows, ingenious ideas for the parade entries and lovely gardens to see on the tour.

The Committee would like to thank the sponsors of Festival 2025 : One Stop Stores, The Dog Shop, Dean Jones Funeral Service, Hares Servicing and Repairs, Jonathan Metliss, Graham Butt Estate Agents, Cooper Adams Estate Agents, the Dart Group, Quercus Nurseries, Highdown Hotel, Bailiffscourt Hotel, Guess Jewellers, Glorious Spa Rustington, Parham House and Gardens, Kamsons Pharmacy, SKB Reflexology and Lady Annabel Goldsmith.

We are also very grateful to East Preston businesses who donated raffle prizes and sold tickets; the pubs, clubs and community groups who staged their own events under the umbrella of the Festival, East Preston Parish Council for its help, both practical and financial, the EP ‘yarn bombers’, who decorate the village with their wonderful creations and the dedicated Festival volunteers who work so hard supporting the committee.

Our final thanks must go to the residents of East Preston, who never fail us with their support, and all the visitors who come to the village from surrounding areas to join in the festivities.
