Tickets for events are now on sale from our box office agents - Seaview Stores and Buds 'n' Blooms.

Tickets for the Grand Prize Draw will be on sale at events throughout the Festival and the lead up to it, priced just £2. The draw will take place on Sunday 9th June just before the final event, Party on the Green.

Wednesday 29th May

Nick Cook's Circus Fun Day - 10am til 3pm on the Village Green

A fantastic day of circus entertainment with circus skills, rides, a magic show and plenty more. There will also be craft and food stalls.

Open Gardens & Art Trail

Saturday 1st and Monday 3rd June, 1pm to 5pm

The Open Gardens & Art Trail is a long established and extremely popular event. Open Gardens is not a competition, its just for people to share their love of gardening. Tickets for this year's Open Gardens are priced £3 and on sale from Seaview Stores and Buds 'n' Blooms.

Saturday 1st June

Community Fete & Charity Market is on the Village Green 9.30am til 3.30pm. There will be children’s entertainment with Punch & Judy, magician, the East Preston Ukelele Band, face painting, Malcolm the Bubble Pop Man and a chance to try the fun American game of Cornhole

Paul Reason appears as music legend George Michael in the Junior School Hall at 7pm. He will be covering George’s career from Wham to the 90s hits and his beautiful ballads. Tickets priced £16 on sale from Seaview Stores and Buds 'n' Blooms.

Monday 3rd June

In the Warren Room of the Village Hall, this year's Antiques Valuation is on from 9.30am until 1pm.

Bring along your small antiques and family heirlooms for a valuation.

Our new event for 2024, Festival Bingo Night, is a sociable night out, will be at the British Legion, 6.45pm for a 7pm start. Tickets are £6 (for a book of 6 games) on sale from Seaview Stores and Buds 'n' Blooms.

Tuesday 4th June - Race Night

This is a 7pm start at East Preston Football Club.  An exciting fun evening - come along an try picking a winner. Tickets priced £7 on sale from Seaview Stores and Buds 'n' Blooms.

Wednesday 5th June - Call My Wine Bluff

A festival regular and favourite, this entertaining evening of wine tasting will be in the Warren Room at the Village Hall at 7pm. Tickets are £16 on sale from Seaview Stores and Buds 'n' Blooms.

Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th June - Bill Cole's Funfair

The funfair will be held at Lashmar Recreation Ground. Opening times as follows:

Thursday and Friday - 4pm until 9am

Saturday - 2pm until 6pm.

Festival Parade – we would love as many local organisations as possible to participate, and that all local residents come and watch and cheer on the participants. If you want to join in the Parade, more information is available here.

Sunday 9th June - Fun Dog Show and Party on The Green

In a change from previous years, this year's Fun Dog Show, hosted by sports presenter John Inverdale, starts at 11am, full details of the 8 classes and how to register will be available in the Festival programme. Following its conclusion, the Grand Prize Draw will take place at approximately 1pm. The grand finale, Party on the Green, is continuing until 6pm with fun for everyone with food stalls, a Pimms and Prosecco tent and music from Bustin' A Groove.

A special Picnic Lunch on the Village Green being held as part of national commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of the historic Normandy Landing. There will be food and drink stalls, music from the school choir and the Silhouettes, a vintage vocal harmony trio performing classic hits of that era an Zoe Hart's Disco.

Squinty McGinty’s Barn Dance will take place in the Junior School Hall at 7.30pm - get out your checked shirt, stetson, put on your magic boots and dance the night away. Tickets priced £10 on sale from Seaview Stores and Buds 'n' Blooms.
