Garage Sale Trail
Wow, we were lucky in 2026 - we had amazing weather and an amazing 68 garages which took part. That meant the village was buzzing, an incredible amount of money was raised for charities, and we were all able to purchase some fantastic bargains.
This was a great community event, for our community.

Our daughter Millie (6) held her first fundraiser - raising £172 for Hope and Homes for Children. It’s an incredible organisation supporting children around the world who are separated from their families. I’ve worked on children’s rights for this organisation (alongside governments and others like UNICEF) across Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe for 20 years - so it was wonderful when Millie wanted to get involved.
Her “happy heart” yoga packs were popular, kids biscuit decorating was a big messy hit, and our Argentine empanadas and alfajores sold out fast.
What fantastic village energy on a beautiful day full of generosity!
